After I did a appreciation comment on the Angry Video Game Nerd I figured Yahtzee derserved some well earned attention also as a highly literate, very entertaining and often hillarious video game reviewer (even if he is a greasey foriegner).
The problem with 99.7% of video game reviewers on the internet is that they are fucking idiots. They somehow manage to get a fanbase and consider themselves the John Holmes of gaming because more than 9 people commented on their video, yeah Im looking at you Nostalgia Critic ya fucking ripoff of James Rolfe only minus style and personality.
So with the thousands of folks who think they are game reviewers just because they have spit out some snarky sarcastic remarks and toss in a couple curses here and there its not easy to find anyone geniunely interesting or that have put more thought into something other than "game sucks and dick knob". But Yahtzee, oh my dear boy you have touched a special place in my dried and shrivled gaming heart with your hillarious dialouge, perfect delivery and actual plotted out thoughts. Yahtzee is almost paroding the game reviewing community by concentrating the usual tripe they do into a comedic dance of the tounge and brain. All the while ripping apart games in a overly sarcastic sense but at the same time actually making valid points about the games problems. At first I didnt enjoy the videos to much till I got used to his speed and style then I found it fucking hillarious and have watched all his videos multiple times.
So my old man hat goes off to Yahtzee.
