Since I am new on this blog I will say before you read this I have been playing games for over 30 years. I still have every system I ever got and my games and I have forgotten more about games than most will ever know about them and I am not a fanboy of any company.

Well folks this has been something thats been brewing for quite some time now in me, festering if you will. If I wrote a master thesis on video games it would be titled "Fanboys arent real gamers". I say that because you arent. Your morons, your just mindless zealots, your jumping on the bandwagon, you have no idea what being a gamer is, your a fanboy just so you can argue on the internet from the safety of your homes because your cowards in real life and this is your way of feeling your telling someone off and get to have a smug sense of self satisfaction with no recourse. And well, its cheaper than therapy.
Xbox 360, ps3, wii, pc or a fucking vectrex, it doesnt matter what system you own because none of them are any better than another system. It doesnt matter who manufacturer's the box you put your games into. When you play say call of duty 4, your not playing the fucking 360 or the pc, your playing call of duty 4. The games are what make systems good, not the other way around. If that were the case then the god damn 8bit nes or the genesis would still be on the market because they had more great titles than the xbox, xbox 360, wii and ps3 put together.
The only thing that matters wheter nintendo, neo geo, microsoft or sony made the console you own is the games you put inside them to play. The game developers are what you should be fanboys of, not the consoles. The game developers are the ones who make good games and bad games. Im sorry but if you spend 100 bucks on a hand held or 5 large on a high end pc it doesnt matter how little it cost or how much it cost or even who made it, all that matters is if it has good games on it. Most expensive or cheapest console in the world is just a paperweight without good games on it to play. If you all fucking idiot diehard halo fans would pull your heads out of your asses you would see the game is made by bungie, not by microsoft, bungie. It doesnt make your 360 the best console on earth or justify you just blindly spouting "360 rockRs!!!! ps3 /epic failz! L0LZ!!!". Because #1 you cant spell worth a shit and you should go back to kindergarden and start over because the only thing thats has failed is you at learning the english language and #2 it makes absolutely no sense at all, you wanna argue? Fine, but atleast put some thought into it and come up with substantial arguments instead of just using the age old "well....because I said so thats why!".
Being a fanboy of systems today is stupid anyway. 85% (Im just making a broad swept guess) of games are made on multiple systems, its not like the old days where each system basically had its own library of exclusive titles. Now all the big games call of duty world at war, bioshock, grand theft auto 4, final fantasy 13, fallout 3, dead space, left 4 dead, guitar hero, rock band 2 and so on were put out on multiple systems and every year the exclusive list gets smaller and smaller because why would a game company make a game for just one system when they can make it and release it on alot of systems and make more money? I mean really what were the 3 big one's exlusive games? 360 had fable 2, gears of war 2. Ps3 had little big planet, resistance 2, and metal gear solid 4. And the Wii well, it had a shitload of exlusive titles that all pretty much sucked unless you were like 4 years old or a adult who was stupid enough to buy into the wii hype and think the wii was going to get them in shape somehow or that paying 250 bucks for a console to bowl in your home is worth it.
And fanboys you guys need to stop flip flopping so damn much on what you think. If your gonna say something stupid with no merit then thats fine but atleast stick to your guns. For instance, I cant tell you how many times over the years I saw 360 fanboys on forums (I mean litterally hundreds) all saying ps3 sucked and final fantasy 13 was going to be this piece of shit game, and the game was going open up a wormhole and suck all the souls of ps3 owners into hell for eternity because they were sinners for liking final fantasy games and all I saw was a ton of bullshit bitching and complaining based on nothing because the game wasnt even out (a rant for another day). BUT! As soon as squareenix makes a public statement that final fantasy 13 would be on both the 360 and ps3 they went apeshit and were saying how great it was going to be, they couldnt wait to play the game, that the good lord came down from heaven and showed his preference in consoles war by making final fantasy 13 on the 360 and that final fantasy 13 is the greatest rpg ever (again its not even out yet) and I saw alot of this "yeah in your face ps3 owners you guys suck we got your game nyah nyah!". Or when hideo kojima announced that metal gear teaser as being a new metal gear game for the iphone, people literally before would say "this is gonna be awesome I cant wait for this whatever it is" then kojima makes the announcement and those same people in the same thread would say "This is bullshit, that games gonna suck anyway". So make up your fucking minds on what you think about something and stick to it.
Me? When someone asks me what do I play, I tell them I play games. Because thats what I do, I play games just like everyone else. I dont play ps3, I dont play 360 and I dont play super nintendo, I play games. And if you want to consider yourself a gamer then get your head of your fucking asshole and stop being so blinded by advertising and what is cool to like on the internet at the time and just play games.
So in closing, dont be a fucking mindless drone idiot, if you like a game then like it for the game and not what its being played on.
